Allowing multiple survey entries, with SSO Authentication when survey is associated with a panel | XM Community

Dear Qualtrics community,

I'm relatively new to this platform and would greatly appreciate some assistance or guidance in the right direction.

My objective is to create a survey for a specific panel where we'll gather data from participants on a weekly basis. We're using SSO for authentication, the type is Shibboleth. My challenge is to display participant data from the previous week's survey. I've managed to achieve this using embedded data and corresponding contact lists. However, I've encountered a limitation: I can only do this if I associate the survey with a panel, but then participants are restricted to taking the survey only once. Additionally, JavaScript is blocked, eliminating that as an option.

Is there a way to allow multiple survey entries with an associated panel? I hope I've explained my question clearly.

Thank you for your support.

I am also new to the platform.

Do you have “Prevent multiple submission” option enabled in your survey option?

Thank you for you answer, and “prevent multiple submissions” is disabled. And still participants from the designated panel only can do the survey once. So I still habe no idea, how to proceed.

Hi @Benky ,

Could it be due to the Link Type setting when you send out email invitations for the survey?

Default setting for email invites are single attempts.

You can change it for multiple completes and how long the link is valid for.

Thank you for this thought, I should have mentioned that this survey needs to be distributed via anonymous link. so this is unfortunately not an option.

I think what you are looking for is “Allow authenticating respondents to retake authenticated section” in the Authenticator options:

Let your respondents complete the authenticated section more than once (i.e., they can finish the survey and then retake it).

By default, respondents can authenticate only once. So if a respondent successfully authenticates and completes the survey, they will not be able to take the survey again.
