I am a student and have just signed up. I am in the process of creating a survey for a research project as part of my studies.
Is it possible to create an anonymised raffle or something similar with a free account? In the instructions for this it says to “redirect a URL”, but then says this is not available on free accounts. So I’m just wondering if there is another way to randomly select a winner and notify them by email.

Not sure if I understand the entire usecase with the limitations of the free account, but as a workaround you can add a link in the end of survey message and then can show that as the End of survey message. Regarding showing it randomly.
There is a task under workflow “Email task” which allows you to send an email to the person. With some logic in survey and this workflow you should be able to manage the randomness.
