Are there premade lagnuage lists?

I would like to ask participants what their mothertongue is; but doing so with a drop down list. I saw that the last time someone asked the exact same question was 4 years ago, has this been solved or is it still something to be done?

I was lookign for a neat list of something akin to “100 most spoken languages” to insert in a drop down list. the goal is to ask participants what their mothertongue is.One extra problem for me is that I need the list in italian.This is what I did:Asked AI to generate a list of the 100 most used languages updated to the last available info it was trained on.Copy the list returned by the AI into word (or similar softwares), if word creates automatically a numbered list, you can simply select the whole list and at the top of the screen DE-select the numbered list option to have a pure words list.IF you need to translate it to whatever language you need do it now; take chucks of 20/30 words and paste them in google translate; then copy them back into another file. Do that for all the languages ofc.Once you have the complete list copy it and paste it in an excel; then simply use the “order alphabetically tool, and you’re done.I did all this to avoid having weird artifacts or repeats in the list.Hope this helps.
