When I tried exporting my date using SPSS format, responses were automatically recoded into numeric points, that’s good. But, the numbers assigned to each point were weird and unnatural (as follows, the labels are my original option texts, the values are numbers automatically recoded, I don’t know why 8 was recoded as 9, so as 9 and 10), how to fix this?
