Best practices for non-relevant comments in TextIQ

We have a minority of random comments that do not fit in any category. Spaces, single letters, one-word comment like "ok". What are your best practices to classify these and not let them rot in the unclassified section?
Our open-text question isn't mandatory, but we still get these random comments for time to time.

I have a general N/A category I assign these too, and I filter it out from the dashboards so it doesn't show.

Yeah, that was my initial thought as well. Curious to see if other setup exists!
