Can I embed a Vimeo video in an email invite? | XM Community

Hi, is it possible to embed a Vimeo video into a survey invite? (not in the survey itself), I have an embedded Vimeo link which (sometimes) works when I paste it in the source view. But when I try to test send it it doesn’t show and in the preview I see an empty box with IFRAME inside. 

Is there something wrong with the embedded code (see below, I’ve removed the actual link and replaced it by WEBSITELINK) or is it just not possible to do this in Qualtrics?

You can, but I wouldn’t recommend it as most email providers will either disable it or strip it out.

Due to spam and the risks posed by email, most interactive elements are usually taken out.

Thanks for the response! Fair point, not worth the effort if it’s going to be stripped out anyway
