Hi,
I am including text-to-speech for some of my survey questions. Respondents can click a microphone icon (added through HTML/JavaScript) on the page to have the text read to them. Otherwise, text-to-speech is not automatically set. Is there a way for me to gather information on whether or not a respondent clicked the icon to have the text read to them? I am only interested in whether or not they clicked it so that I can have an idea of how many respondents wanted to hear the page read. The survey is anonymous. I have tried reading info posts about embedded data, meta data, transactions... I am not familiar with these advanced features but none of the posted embedded data categories seem to describe how to record and report data from clicking the button.
Thanks!
Katie
Edited to add: Not sure how to delete this post. I found my answer from this thread https://community.qualtrics.com/XMcommunity/discussion/3256/how-do-i-change-the-value-of-embedded-data-on-a-button-click

Glad you found the answer you were looking for! Our organization also uses Google Analytics in some cases to track object clicks, among other uses, but this is a nice feature that Qualtrics offers!
Also if you want to delete your post you can probably tag Michael_Cooksey for help with that, but I also think its a good idea to leave your question up so others can search for it in case they have the same question!
