Hello,
I'll be conducting a study where I'm collecting responses from several sets of paired people. How do I set up the survey so that it does not collect any identifying information and so that I can know which response came from which person of each pair (ex. that response A came from person 1 of pair 1, response D came from person 2 of pair 2, etc.) Do I assign paired participant IDs to be entered into the survey by the participant? (Ex. telling person 1 of the first pair to enter their ID as 1a and the second person is 1b, next pair is 2a, 2b, and so on.) Is there any other way to do this?

You can create a custom link and pass your identifier via query string. For example, wwww.surveylink.com?participantid=X30834. You can then branch the survey or store your identifier as embedded data in the response.
