I have created a single survey targeting users based on their level of engagement in a product. For one specific product user type I will identify in the survey, I would like to automate a process to send them a general (not customized) email at the conclusion of their survey that includes copy and the survey link that they will be asked to send out to their employees. I looked at the email trigger feature in Qualtrics but do not see how this fits my scenario. Wondering if anyone has figured this out.

For your case, it sounds like the workflow would have three steps:
- A survey response is created (so this is an event-based workflow rather than a scheduled workflow)
- The response is evaluated based on one or more logical conditions you specify in a condition block. These conditions can include answers they provide in the survey, or other embedded data your survey uses.
- If the response successfully passes the logic in your condition block, an email task is run. This copy of this email can be static, or include piped text from the response. You can also check the “Include Response Report” box if you want to include a copy of the answers they provided.
Thanks for the feedback Henry. I’m not sure my need matches the workflow you described. If a respondent answers a question indicating they play an HR role vs. an employee role, I want to generate a recommended email that they will see and can cut & paste to send to their employees so we can connect employees to their version of a survey via the email and the embedded link in the email.
My current work around is to create a separate block containing the email script and that his is displayed upon completion of survey by the HR contact so they can cut and paste from message within the survey.
