CX, notification of un-started/incomplete surveys | XM Community

I am building out a survey that is mandatory for our staff to complete on the CX platform. The survey is to be distributed to all staff, and then have 2 follow up reminders that I’ll automate under distributions for those who have not completed it. The staff will be listed in a directory list. I will be adding a field called “manager” and “manager email” as embedded data.

I would like to know if there is a way to automate an email/report to the manager of their staff (pulling from the embedded data) who HAVE NOT completed the survey after the 2 reminders have gone out. I know through workflows I can do this for those who have started but not yet completed - how do I do this for people who have never clicked into the survey and therefore don’t have a response in progress?

As a work around I know I can export responses, compare it against my original list and write an excel formula to quickly narrow down lists of employees who have not completed their survey and then send those lists to the managers, but I’m hoping there is some way to automate this process within Qualtrics.

I’m not sure about automation process for this, but I can help you to skip a step in your idea. You can download the distribution history and see who opened the email like a status.

Yes - that is what I one a was going to do in my workaround and manipulate the list in excel to determined who had not completed it.
