Hello Qualtrics Community,

I am new here and currently conducting a pretest for my master’s thesis survey. I am running a between-subjects experiment with 6 conditions. Everything was going smoothly until I tried to add a manipulation check question to ensure that one of the choices displayed to the participant is included.

I want to show 3 choices in the manipulation check question, with one of them being the correct choice that was displayed to the participant. I tried to add embedded data for each condition, but when I test the questionnaire, the condition image is not displayed, nor are the choices for my manipulation check question.

Here’s what I have in my survey flow:

  Present 1 of the following elements:

    - Show Block: Condition 1 (1 Question)
      - Set Embedded Data: ConditionVue = "Condition 1"

    - Show Block: Condition 2 (1 Question)
      - Set Embedded Data: ConditionVue = "Condition 2"

    - Show Block: Condition 3 (1 Question)
      - Set Embedded Data: ConditionVue = "Condition 3"

    - Show Block: Condition 4 (1 Question)
      - Set Embedded Data: ConditionVue = "Condition 4"

    - Show Block: Condition 5 (1 Question)
      - Set Embedded Data: ConditionVue = "Condition 5"

    - Show Block: Condition 6 (1 Question)
      - Set Embedded Data: ConditionVue = "Condition 6"
 

What should I do to fix this issue?
