Does Qualtrics have rules on how long an account/data is stored?

Thought I would pose my question here hoping someone might know. I've been trying unsuccessfully to get an answer to this from QualtricsSupport for a while now.
Does Qualtrics have any rules about how long an account and/or its data is stored? For example can someone not use and/or log into their account for 10 years say and expect the account/data to still exist?

Hi byantha - it looks like our Support team was able to help answer your question! It depends on the type of account created with the license (e.g. Users as part of an active brand can expect data to be conserved in the brand however, for a Qualtrics free account, default data retention time is 6 months). The data for any user that remains as active (account not deleted or cancelled) will remain in Qualtrics for as long as the brand remains active!
