Email confirmation workflow accidently disabled. How to send confirmation email to those who already completed the survey. | XM Community

Hi there!

 

I copied a previous survey and didn’t realize I had to manually enable the email task workflow for confirmation of survey completion. A few employees reached out to let me know they didn’t receive the confirmation email. I now have it enabled, but is there a way to go back and send confirmation emails to those who had already completed the survey prior to the workflow being enabled?

One of the way would be to use API to update the responses for whom the emails were not sent. This will re-trigger the emails for those responses. Make sure in response event you have enabled the checkbox to trigger when the responses are updated by API. We can make any small obvious change to any emebedded  data values for the event to trigger. Also, do make update record date flag as false.
