We have surveys available for English and French respondents. However, we do not know the preferred language of the respondents and, being transactional surveys, the database is very large and grows each day.
I read on the Qualtrics site about “Automatic Language Detection” based on the recipient’s browser settings. This would be what we are looking to do that as the most effective process.
Specifying the Participant Language and, more specifically, Automatic Language Detection
Questions:
- Have others used this for surveys and just let the recipient’s browser auto-select which language should the survey be displayed (and/ or they can manually select their language once in the survey)?
- Does this autodetection also work for the EMAIL INVITATION? So, as long as there is an English and French version in place, the recipient’s browser will autoselect the correct one.
Feedback? Experience using?
Thanks,
