I've spent hours trying to figure out something that looks like it should be simple so thought I'd reach out to the community for help.
Goal: I want respondents to use the first block to select Twitch streamers that they're familiar with (from a multiple choice list - about 40 checkboxes. I then want them to use a second block to answer the same set of questions per selected streamer. Eventually, I would like to have a second section of the survey where they then answer questions about themselves..but I can't seem to get to that part because I must be doing something wrong with the first part.
Problem: I tried following the directions in the loop & merge documentation to set up that functionality. However, whenever I preview, the first block where the user is supposed to select their known streamers disappears. Also, the piped text isn't dynamic and only shows the username of the first option in the selection list.
Notes:

• I have tried this both with loop&merge set and not set on the second block.


• I haven't added a field 2 in the loop&merge modal because the documentation didn't call it out as necessary. I tried adding test values but it still didn't make a difference.
