I conducted a survey, and one block of questions measures professional identity, and includes 5 questions where respondents rank to what degree they agree with a statement. For each question, I have scored each responses value (for example strongly agree: 5, strongly disagree: 1). So each respondent should have a final “score” which represents the sum of their responses, according to the value attached to their answer. Now i’d like to create new categories, for example “strong professional identity” for those who’s total score is between 20 and 25, “moderately strong professional identity” for those who’s total score is between 15-20, and so on. I’d need these new categories to be created so I can visualize and compare these categories with the other data from my other question block (which has demographic data, etc) in the results / reports section.
Can anyone help?
