How to display a QR Code survey in a unique language? | XM Community

Hello! Our team is about to launch a new survey in Mexico, and customers will use the QR Code to access. Since we are a global team, all of our surveys are created in English, and we include the translations depending the country that the survey is going to be lauched. In this case for Mexico, we dont have any embedded data in the survey, and all the respondents should see the survey in Spanish. Do you know how can we display this survey to customers only in Spanish, and not English?

Thank you so much!!

Hello Adriana, you can embed the value for Q_Language=ES-ES at the end of survey URL and then generate the QR code for the survey.

Hello, thanks for your response! So, where should I embed the value for Q_Language=ES-ES at the end of survey URL? Is this something I need to do in the survey flow? Thanks :)

Not in the survey flow. In the anonymous link of the survey.

Eg-

For Mexico - {SurveyURL}?Q_Language=ES-ES

I included “?Q_Language=ES-ES” at the end of the anonymous link/URL, and it worked in my browser, the survey displayed in Spanish!! But what happens is that I can’t edit the anonymous link in Qualtrcis (is “read-only), to include this value at the end or the URL. How should I do this? Will I need to “update” the QR code?

you cannot edit the anonymous link provided by Qualtrics but can generate a new QR code for your new survey link

I see, thanks for the explanation. So how can I generate a new QR code for my new survey link?

you can use 3rd party software such as Canva, Adobe, etc.

Sounds good, thanks!

Unfortunately the answer was not helpful for me, since in my company we don’t use 3rd party companies to generate QR Codes, we only use Qualtrcis to do it. But thanks anyways for your support!
