How to review responses to certain questions and decide whether the taker can resume the survey? | XM Community

Hey all,

I’m trying to make a workflow for a survey, let’s say it has 20 multi-choice questions, I’d like to review the respondents’ answer for question 3, and if the answer is what I need, the taker will be proceeded to question 4 (probably they’ll resume the survey in several days later because I’ll also need some time to decide), but if the answer is not, the survey shall end itself. And I’d like to trigger an email to me when a response is received for question 3, and trigger another email to the respondent with the link to resume the survey.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi… 

as per my understanding what you can do is create a display logic for question 4 on the basis of answer of question 3 if you want to continue with the single survey so that if the answer is “No” then you can end the survey otherwise you can continue with the survey flow.

and for the email trigger, you may need to create 2 work flows which triggers on a event ( i.e. when thè response is received) and set ả condition accordingly.. for the task you may choose email ( one to you and other one to the customer with thệ survey link embedded in the email.)
