How to skip questions and end on a custom page depending on participant's answer | XM Community
Skip to main content

Hi there,

My survey has a couple of questions which means they might skip all the questions and end on a page which should only appear if they tick a specific answer to this question.

E.g at the beginning of the survey, if participants select that they would like to complete the survey with a researcher over the phone, then i want them to skip all the questions and end on a page asking for their contact details and telling them that the researcher will be in contact to discuss this with them.

Another scenario is if the participant selects that they do not have a diagnosis in the demographic questions, then they skip all the questions and end on a page saying that unfortunately they are not eligible for the survey.

Any help would much appreciated - thanks!

If you are asking all the questions on one page. Then you can apply in page display logic.

If you are asking one question one page then you can put all questions (which you want to skip) on separate page and theb can apply branch logic on that block.

If you are using one block for all the questions and will ask one question per page. Then you can apply skip logic.

process and procedure is mentioned on below support links.

Hi @harmonyj

For both the scenario you can use display logic and skip logic

For 1st scenario you can create a question which asks participant if  they would like to complete the survey with a researcher over the phone with yes and no option. and on contact details question you can put display logic with condition if yes is selected in question 1.

Same for 2nd scenario also.
