I want to have a tap so that participants can go back to the certain text and come back to where they left | XM Community

Hello, community!

I would like to launch an online experiment with a scenario. In the experimental survey, the text block (containing the scenario) will be randomly presented to participants. Following the scenario, survey questions will be presented. I want to have a tab (not 'tap') appearing at all times when participants answer the questions. This tab will allow participants to go back to the specific text, return to where they left off, and continue answering.

Is there any way that makes this possible?

In such cases the best thing to do would be either simply pipe in the question text that has scenario on each screen OR   using JS to show the dialog pop up which will have the scenario on click of a button of each screen.

Thank you Shashi for your response. Could you explain the first option that you mentioned (simply pipe in the question text that has scenario on each screen)? Also, does it work for a randomized text as well? Each participant will be randomly exposed to one of two scenarios, so I cannot set one specific text as a pop up dialog. I look forward to your answer! Thank you!

We can use branch logic in survey flow to pipe in the displayed question text in an embedded data and use this embedded data in the future questions.

I am totally new to Qualtrics, so I am so sorry that I have a limited capacity to understand your suggestion.

to pipe in the displayed question text (so these are survey questions?) in an embedded data (What will be embedded data? randomized scenario?) and use this embedded data in the future questions.

Is there any possible way that I can better understand your suggestion? Thank you so much for your help!
