Including outside survey data in my Qualtrics survey data | XM Community

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is having a great end to their week. I wanted to reach out to anyone who would know how to answer my question. SO, I have a lot of different demographic data (state, county, gender, party, etc.) on panel members I send out surveys to on occasion. I am wondering how, and if, I can include that data in my final dataset from my Qualtrics survey. Primarily, I am wanting that information to populate in my dataset after that individual has completed the survey.

Thanks so much!

Hi there -  if you add the extra variables to your panel before you send the invites, you can then reference those panel variables in your survey (as embedded variables) and they would then be stored in your data set.

Mike, thanks for your reply. Can this only be done through Qualtrics? I ask because when we use Qualtrics for an online survey, we send out link through a custom built MailChimp email. We use anonymous links but we do not send out surveys in qualtrics. Thanks!

I suspect can only be done this way if you use individual links rather than one anonymous link. If you created a link for each panel member in Qualtrics, then you might be able to import those individual links into MailChimp to send out?
