Our organization does lots of multi-mode surveys (e.g. email and SMS outreach) but Qualtrics forces you to create a new link for each distribution, even if it’s the same respondent for the same survey. To avoid duplicates, we’ve been using a tedious but effective process of sending email distributions, then turning the individual survey links into shortened codes and re-uploading to pipe them into SMS messages. This has the added benefit of vastly reducing the survey link character length, which the FedRAMP platform we are required to use will not do otherwise.
As of today, the change in the SMS distribution interface now forces you to insert a Survey URL through Qualtrics, which means that we can no longer send the same link by email and SMS. I have been advised by Qualtrics support that there is no way to fix this issue or revert to the old interface.
Has anyone else experienced this or has any kind of workaround for this new loss of functionality?
