Anyone have experience with conducting large maxdiff project (10,000 plus responses)?

Yes i have, let me know how i can help.

@dmckiernan ,

I have done a few large MaxDiff projects, and here are a few tips and tricks when doing them:

  1. Use blocks: In order to reduce survey fatigue and improve response quality, consider breaking up your maxdiff tasks into smaller blocks with fewer tasks in each block.

  2. Monitor completion rates: Keep an eye on completion rates throughout the study to ensure that participants are not dropping out due to survey fatigue or other reasons.

  3. Use embedded data: Use embedded data to track and analyze responses. This will allow you to easily filter and analyze responses based on various demographic and behavioral variables.

  4. Use Quotas: Consider setting quotas for various demographic groups to ensure that you have a representative sample. You can use embedded data to monitor quota fulfillment in real-time.

  5. Consider incentives: Offering incentives for participation can help improve response rates and reduce attrition.

  6. Monitor data quality: Monitor data quality throughout the study to identify any outliers or suspicious responses. You can use Qualtrics data cleaning tools or export the data to another program for further analysis.

Good luck!

Does anyone know how to analyze max diff data. I want to transpose my data from wide to long format and also if there are any codes you can recommend to run a marginal model with the data.
