I need to import an old QSF for a project I’m replicating. When I try to import it I get the error, “You do not have permission to use advanced quota features”.
That’s fine - I don’t care about the quota features, I just need to import the blocks/questions in the survey. Can I modify the QSF somehow to get around this annoying barrier? Contacting the owner of the original survey is no longer possible.
Note, I think a decent solution to this if anyone is up for it would be for me to send someone with advanced quota feature access the QSF, have them remove the quota stuff, and export the QSF and send it back to me. I’d appreciate this if you’re up for it (and would pay a small amount for such a service)!
A QSF is basically a JSON file with a different extension. Open it up in any code editor like Vscode and set the language to JSON to see the different components.
If you're not willing to share the QSF publicly, a better option would be create two surveys, one with quotas and one without, download both QSFs and note the difference. Then delete the quota segment from your desired QSF.
