No values for slider option "not applicable" in data set | XM Community

Hi,

I have created 150 slider questions in a questionnaire. Only 15 of these 150 questions are displayed to a respondent. The slider can be selected between the values 0 and 1000. In addition, the "Don't know" option was activated on the slider. Now I have noticed that the answer "Don't know" is not recognizable in the data set. If a participant selects the option, no value is saved. Therefore, I do not know whether a question was hidden for a participant or whether the participant selected "Don't know". What is curious is that if you look at the responses of an individual participant under data & analysis >> data >> view response, you can see whether someone has selected the "Don't know" checkbox or whether the question was not submitted. The information is therefore always available in the system. Perhaps there is a variable that provides information about which 15 of the 150 questions are displayed to a participant. This would probably already help. I would be very grateful for an answer/solution.

Regards Christoph

In the download options there’s a checkmark that allows you to fill a specific value for “seen but not answered” questions, you probably need that.

Alternatively, you could look at recoding your responses.

Or in the worst case, create one ED for each slider question and using branch logic give it a value only when the slider is displayed.

@ahmedA Thank you for your answer. The download option “seen but not answered” was the solution. Thank you!!
