We’re a B2B company, and we are in the process of developing customer personas. We know that we would like to have different personas based on the contact’s job role (purchasing, R&D, etc.), however we would like to hear community input on how to structure/segment our personas beyond that. How many different customer personas are recommended, and how do we decide how to segment them? For example, should it be by age, geographical region, market segment, etc?
Do your personas represent actual customers, or are they a representative hybrid of many customers?
Can anyone share how your company has approached persona building? Thanks for your input!
