Pipe text based on randomly assigned condition | XM Community

Hello all!

I am designing a study where people are randomly assigned to evaluate profiles - half of which are of people named “David” and the other half of which are of people named “Jennifer”. Participants will then answer questions about these profiles (same questions in every condition). However, I want each item piped with the name of the profile they viewed (e.g., “What did you think of David nJennifer]”?). Is there an easy way to do this?

Yes this is possible and depends on the randomization approach. Please elaborate on the randomization approach you have taken.

@ljordan83 In survey flow, put a randomizer before your question block that assign an embedded data name ‘Profile’ to David or Jennifer.

Now in the question, just pipe-in ‘Profile’. E.g: What did you think of ${e://Field/Profile}

Hope this help
