Present x number of questions and randomize follow up questions | XM Community

Hi,
I want to randomly show 5 statements from a set of 15 but each statement has 3 follow-up questions and I want to randomize those questions also, so they appear in a random or rotational order. How do I go about that?

I'm not sure I understand the use case exactly, but I'm wondering if what you need is:

  1. A question with advanced randomization for the statements, instructing Qualtrics to randomize and show only 5 of the 15 options.

  2. A loop and merge block that includes the 3 follow up questions, for each of the statements that were presented.

  3. Randomization on the loop and merge block, so that the questions appear in random order in the follow up.

If I have misunderstood the need please post more details, the better we understand what you are trying to accomplish, the easier it is for a member of the community to come back with viable solution options.
