Hi all,
I am hoping someone could help on this.
I am trying to set-up a 2*5 factorial vignette survey. I am using the Randomizer functionality of Qualtrics to ensure that the factors measured in my study are presented to the participants randomly. I have two types of factors, one is text (n=5), and the other is an image (n=2) .
Currently, I am able to use the embedded function of the randomizer and piped text to ensure that the text-based factors were randomly presented to the participants. My challenge is on randomising the image-based factors. As the study is 2*5 factorial design, each participants will need to see 10 vignettes. For example, vignette1 will have textfactor1 and image1, vignette2 will have textfactor2 and image2 and so on and so forth. Currently, my design works well for vignette1 and textfactor1. However, for vignette2, instead presenting the user with image2, the randomiser shows image1. I am wondering if there is a way to tell the randomiser not to present any image that was previously shown to the participant. It might help to also note that all my images were stored in my library. I capture the images by including the link to every image as a value of an embedded data variable. I am not sure if I am making sense but below is a screenshot of my current design.
