Reasons for 0 or fewer than required click count per pages | XM Community

I made a survey that utilized MTurk and I included questions on each page assessing 1st/last click, page submit, and click count. There are some people who presented with having 0 click counts, or fewer clicks than it requires to finish the page (e.g.. 5 clicks but there were 7 buttons to click on a page, and force response was on). I've read that this may be due to people using scripts to autofill the responses, but is there any other explanation for this? I'd like to remove these responses but only if I can be highly confident that they were using some script to not actually answer the questions.

Also, I did not use any of the bot detection or other options qualtrics provides, as I was not aware of them at the time.
