Hello!
I am setting up a flow of surveys and had a few questions.

  1. How to prohibit a participant from proceeding with the survey from selecting 1 of 2 options (one that allows to proceed and the other that ends the survey), and;

  2. whether these questions should be within the same project (but different block) as the following surveys? Or, should they be within their own project with a redirect to the following surveys if they choose the desired response?

I would recommend keeping everything in the same survey. The easiest way to filter respondents out in your example would be to add a branch to the survey flow based on the response to that question. This article should help you:
