Hi,
I was wondering if it possible to calculate the score for randomly presented items perhaps through setting up different scoring categories or using embedded data? In our research, we will first ask participants to estimate the number of headlines they can correctly judge as real or fake (out of 6), before presenting them with the 6 headlines (3 Real, 3 Fake randomly selected from 32 headlines, 16 Real, 16 Fake). Then, participants will proceed to judge another 10 headlines (5 Real, 5 Fake). After seeing all 16 headlines, they will be given performance feedback consisting of their estimated score, their actual score sthis is the score we couldn’t figure out how to calculate], and a sentence stating whether they are performing above/below/in line with their estimate. Subsequent to this feedback stage, participants will proceed to judge the rest of the 16 headlines.
Many thanks in advance,
Daisy
