Is it possible (trough js or some other way) to skip a certain question in block y, based on the response in question x, located in a block above it?
I want to clarify: I know branch is a thing. I specifically DO NOT want to use it, as it would tremendously complicate my life and procedure in this case.
Is there a simple way to do it with some code? Qualtrics is somewhat limited in the given options that you can just click and select in this area.

Have you tried using Display Logic to hide the question in Block Y? Unless there's more to this that I understand, that seems like the simplest way to hide a single question within a block in this scenario.
