Can I have two answer field for one question? (multiple choice and a free text)
eg: If my responder wants to provide extra information regarding that question. so can they type in a free text along with a multiple choice

Yes, I did but then the text is associated with that particular option.
Let suppose i don’t have an answer for that particular question so instead of selecting the options can I add a text stating some comments?
Yes, you’re correct the option choice gets auto selected when you type in the text box.
To have a text box and multiple choice I would recommend using side by side question type. It would give you that functionality.
