Create a question with group A choices, use advance randomisation, then select randomly choose 1 from this group A. Similarly do it for group B in another question. Hide these questions by using JS or timer.
in the next question use the same set of choice and apply logic using the above 2 questions ”Displayed” choices.
Hope this helps.
You can do that setup using Max diff matrix type and choose the order in which you want to show. Here is the link for the same. (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/conjoint-project/survey-tab-px/configuring-maxdiff-questions/)
@rgupta15 This sounds amazing and this is exactly what I need! Unfortunatly my organizations Qualtrics license does not include MaxDiff. So I have to do it without it.
@Guruparan This is what I was thinking about, I think I can manage to do that. But I want every text to show exactly three times. Any way I can do that?
While using Advance randomization, enable “Evenly display choices”, this will ensure all the choices are displayed evenly.
@Guruparan Ohh yeah, that quite clever. I will look into this and see if it works. Thank you!
