Add text to choice but ommit it for Data/Analysis | XM Community

Hi everyone
I'm sure there's an answer out there for my question but I can't find the right words to search for it.
I have multiple choice options of the following type:
1, no
2
3, yes
I would like the text ",yes"/",no" to be only for the survey respondent and to be ignored when I'm exporting the data from the survey.
Is there a way to add text to a choice in such way, where the text doesn't show up in, for example, the CSV?
Thank you very much for your help!

Following method will also hide the text(Yes/No) in data and analysis tab and also in number value export for both choices it will be 999, hence you won't be able to differentiate between the two choices anymore. But the only option you can see their choice is via response summary/ view response option in data and analysis tab. So be very sure before you do this. In recode values option do the below setup, where in in variable naming text box theirs a space in both option.

Thank you for your answer.
Will this leave "1, yes" as is for the survey taker and transform it into "1" for the CSV?
If yes, can I do it in a way that only applies to one question?

Yes, in the option text you can keep, "1, yes" but in variable naming just put "1".
Take the test run and check the data to confirm.
