In the question of the survey I collect the IDs of the organization
In a separate file, I have the IDs assigned to states. I do not ask in the survey about the state, but only about the organization's ID.
For example:
Question 1 in the survey: What is the ID of your organization? XXXX
In a separate CSV file, I have the following data for all IDs: ID XXXX STATE NY
I want to add the state as embedded data (i.e. if ID = XXX ,then state = NY) . So that in some questions the data will appear in accordance with the relevant state. For example: Did it rain in New York] today?
I appreciate any ideas and tips
Cheers
G

Upload the csv file as a contact list and put organization id as the external data reference and state as an embedded data column in that list . Now use authenticator in the survey flow and get the state embedded data in the survey.

Solved! Thank you so much!

I have a similar goal as the original question, but did not fully understand this answer. Could you provide some more detail on how exactly to get the state embedded data into the survey?
Specifically, I did not understand (using the example from above):
1) If I am not distributing the survey via a contact list, can I just put in some fake e-mails into the csv with ID and state assignments, as the e-mail field is required when uploading a contact list?
2) How do I connect the authenticator to a previous survey question asking for the organization ID? Can I provide the Piped text of the Selected Choice of this question in the prefill authenticator field?
3) In the authenticator, do I only have to input the organization ID as the authentification field or ALSO the state as an additional field?
4) Are any additional steps necessary to be able to use the state as embedded data in a question later on, i.e. creating an Embedded Data element for the state after the authenticator?
Thank you very much in advance!
