Hi,

I have no experience in qualtrics and am running into some trouble.
I have an experimental setup, which I would like to do in Qualtrics as follows:
1) I would like the participant to read 1 of 3 stories
2) Page break
3) Rate 6 different stimuli, using sliders questions, on the same page

The problem is that the stimuli have to be randomized on several levels. First, I would like to draw 1 stimulus from a pair of 2 stimuli. Then I would like to repeat this for 7 pairs. From these 7 pairs I would like to draw 2 stimuli. Each pair is a member of a group. There are 3 collections in total from which i would like to draw 2 stimuli each, resulting in the 6 stimuli mentioned above. The order of these 6 stimuli I would like to randomize.
In summary we are talking about 3x7x2 options per conditions, from which I want to draw 3x2x1 stimuli per story.
I am able to do the randomization using blocks, but I am unable to present them on 1 page without breaks, allowing for a direct comparison of the stimuli. Whenever I use the block options and randomize the questions (putting the stimuli as sliders questions in a single block) I am unable to build in the randomization requirement mentioned above, since I can not define multiple subsets of questions (collections and group).
Is there any way to show multiple blocks in a single page? Or a way to define multiple subsets (read conditions) of questions and then use the block specific randomization function? Or is there a different way to do this altogether?

Thank you kindly in advance,

Jesse

Create embedded data for each stimulus question and set its value to 0. Put all the stimulus question on the same block without page breaks. And add display logic i.e if their respective embedded data is set to 1. Using Javascript set the embedded data for 6 stimuli to 1 using required condition.
