Is there a way to create paper surveys so that they can be read by a scanner and imported into Qualtrics?
Because our paper surveys are being digitized by people with varying skills with technology, we aren't using a spreadsheet. Instead, we created a survey link for them to be entered one at a time. It's a lot of work, and because paper is the best way to reach some members of our community we're going to be doing more in the future.
There must be a way to automate this, right? I'm imagining Scantron tests, only without the special scanner and green sheets.

I can't offer any help here, Anna, except to say that we would also find this helpful. Scanning paper responses into existing Qualtrics-generated data files would help us in markets where access to technology is spotty, as in some people can access the internet to take a survey, and others can't.
Does anyone know of a way to do this?

Hi all! Current functionality does not allow for users to scan a paper survey and convert it to a Qualtrics survey. However, users can prepare a TXT or DOC file to import as a Qualtrics survey. If you'd like, be sure to add this as a new idea in our Product Ideas category so it may be considered for future implementation!
