For an international research collaboration, participants have to complete a total of 10 surveys (on related subjects; e.g. mood, substance abuse, perfectionism) in Qualtrics. It is a cross-sectional design, so they have to complete the 10 surveys around the same time point.
The participants will register through a secure website and receive a personalized link for Qualtrics per Email. Is it possible to use one personalized link to reach the 10 different surveys?
The ideal situation would be that following the personalized link the participants can view and complete the 10 surveys. They can take breaks between each survey and return to their queue at any time by following this link. However, I am not sure if this is possible in Qualtrics.
I am afraid that combining the surveys into one huge survey, will lead to greater drop-out.
You could create an 11th survey that will redirect participants to the other 10 surveys. It would contain a single question with links to the other 10 surveys.
For those 10 links to be personalized, you would need to create personalized links for all 10 surveys, merge them together into a .csv and upload them to a Contact list as embedded data fields. Then pipe those embedded data fields into your redirect survey as the survey links' urls.
I personally do not see the difference between 10 surveys and 1 long one, if the goal is to have everything completed 100%.
when you send a personalised link, the progress is saved anyway, so when the link is opened next time, the respondent can continue from where they left off.
the survey can for example be divided into 10 sections with Table of content, so the participants know which parts have been completed already and which parts have not.
just saying..
