  • Survey: pre- and post- test

  • pre and post test are similar in most of the items but they are slightly different in some inventories (i.e. pre-test: Inventory+demographic; post-test inventory+ satisfaction)

  • Participants' last 5 digits of phone number will be asked as identifyer

  • Is it possible to link the same participant's response and generate a spss output (.sav) that the same participant are in the same row of spss output; with different labelling of variable i.e. pre-test XXX_T0, post test: XXX_T1?

  • If it is possible, what are the detailed steps for this?

  • ( I cannot find answer at the existing responded question in the community or qualtrics' guide)

I think there are a couple of ways you could accomplish this.
One:

  1. Create seperate pre-survey and post-survey projects.

  2. Set the Pre-survey to add all answer info to the panelists' embedded data

  3. Set the post-survey to pipe in all data from Survey 1

Two:
  1. Just export them separately and merge in SPSS using panelist ID numbers
