Hi everyone,
I am trying to create a shopping task using qualtrics for a survey that is investigating how personality, moral foundation, and social justice affects shopping habits.
I have created a block with a number of constant sum questions (representing the food items) and have recorded the values to the value of each food item. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a way to display the total of each of the variables added together at the bottom of the block. This needs to be updated in real time, so if someone changed a food item the 'cart' will update the total amount.
The best example of this would be when online shopping. The basket updates with the total cost of the shop in real time when items are added or removed.
So if anyone has any idea of how this could be achieved that would be greatly appreciated.

You need to use Custom code if you want to have the total in the same page else you can use Math operation to calculate and display it in the next page.
Ahh I was worried that would be the answer! Thank you though!
