I am using embedded data in a 'Thank you email' (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/survey-options/survey-termination/#SendingAThankYouEmail).
The message has the following structure:
Dear participant,
Thank you for participation in our survey. Please find a summary of your scores below.
${e://Field/Embedded_data_1}
${e://Field/Embedded_data_2}
Thank you again for your participation. Please feel free to contact us in case you have any questions.

While testing this format I noticed that I did receive a thank you email with all the text included. However, the embedded data was missing from the message (it was just blank space). Please note: the embedded data consists of text only.
Also relevant to note: when I use the exact same text in an 'end of survey message (pop-up)', the text including the embedded data does show up correctly.
If this is a known issue, might there be a workaround? In other words I would like to send the exact same message (a copy if you will) popping up at the end of survey to the e-mail address of the participants (so they can review their scores/feedback at any given time).
The deadline for distributing the survey is tomorrow 12.00 CEST so a swift respons would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same issue since Monday, the email tasks in the survey actions are not pulling the data from the embedded field into the actual email.
It started randomly, as these actions were in place and running well for a long time. Is there any issue with the platform that you are aware of?

I recently started having an issue with a Contract Trigger that had been working for a long time, then stopped updating a field. I don't know if is related or not. I also opened a support ticket.
I think both our issues are unrelated to Sascha's question. Sascha was trying to use a Thank You when he/she should have been using a survey response email task.

Thank you both so much for your responses. Although the email task might be the preferred method, as fas as I understand the Thank you e-mail should work just fine. As long as respondents get an e-mail with text that can include embedded data. I am going to look into the e-mail task in more detail Tom. At the same time I will get in touch with Qualtrics support and mention this thread. I hope to resolve it before June the 15th.

We are having a similar issue with a survey, except the embedded data IS showing up in the email but not in the end-of-survey message.
Did you get positive resolution on this issue via support? If so, do you mind sharing here?
