How can a user have multiple open/in-progress surveys? | XM Community

Hello
I have created a survey. I need to figure out how I can provide a user a link and they can use it for multiples response. A key factor is that the user may have 3-5 open surveys (in progress) at one time. What I am running into is no matter what I do when I provide a link to a user they start the survey, if they complete and submit the survey and return to the original link it starts a new survey (which is okay). The issue is they may start the survey (for a sub-user/customer) and only partially finish but then need to start a another survey or two for another sub-user/customer. This esentiually means that a user has 3-4 in progress surveys and may need to return to each of those specifically at different times to complete/submit. Is this possible and how is it done? How would a user know which survey is for a specific sub-user/customer.
To help understand the situation here is an example.
I email a distributor a survey link. The distributor has multiple end-customer that will be providing information to the distributor to fill out the survey. That distributor may have multiple open/pending/in progress surveys for multiple customers. How does the distributor keep track of what link is for what customer and how do we set this up so they can have multiple open/in progress links?

Thank you
Ryan

Ryan,
I am not sure this is what you are looking for, but we had a need for a secretary to be able to send out a link for an application that was specific to a person and could not be forwarded to someone else to use.
I created a contact list with 500 irrelevant emails to generate unique distribution links (test100@testemail.com, test101@testemail.com, etc). It was pretty easy using a spreadsheet and concatenate for the import.
We maintained the links in a spreadsheet so that she could add a name to the link to show it had been assigned and have access to the link if needed. When she used all 500, I just generated another batch.
I am sure you want something more accessible, but maybe my workaround will trigger your thinking.
Good luck!
Sabrina

Thank you for your reply and information. I believe I figured out a way to do what I need to do.
