In my survey, I am using loop & merge - loop based off of a question - and then I was able to select one of my questions in the survey.
However, I wanted to select choices from 3 questions. How is this possible?

It isn't. You can create a fourth question, add all the choices from the first three questions and use display logic on each choice to display the appropriate choices and loop based off that question. Hide the question with JavaScript.
