I am trying to add embedded data into the body of the text on a scheduled email...or in the subject line. I have tried Piped text and that does not work. I have tried setting it up in the message library but you cannot use a message from the message library in a scheduled email text. The support page online says that it is possible but I think this is out of date and this functionality does not exist any more. I am wondering if there is a coding solution to this or some other way to do this? This is the link that says it is possible but the email scheduler seems to have changed since this was uploaded.

see point 10 on this link... https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/reports-module/results-section/exporting-and-sharing-results/scheduled-report-emails/

Can you create the embedded field as the first widget in your report instead of sending via piped text?

Thanks Alil, Yes I can do that but my text is read automatically and the distributed accordingly. I can get the reader to read the attachment instead but it does mean more work I would rather avoid if there is a solution. Currently it all works fine. Real shame they are shutting down Classic reports ..the new one has so few features it is a very poor substitute.

Hi Helen, you should be able to insert Piped Text into either the message body or subject line of emails sent from the platform. However, if you are trying to send piped text in a scheduled report email, there may be discrepancies between what the platform is able to populate as Piped Text and what it is not, since reports do not directly tie to contacts or response embedded data.
If you haven't already, I recommend reaching out to our Support Team so that a specialist can maybe take a closer look and see what's going on!
