Hello Qualtrics Community,
My survey has 12 different groups all of which view a different combination of text and image and then answer the same 5 questions. At the moment I have this set up as 12 different blocks to which participants are randomly assigned with block including the picture, text, and questions. However, this make data analysis tricky as there are 60 different variables instead of 5.
In short, I am looking for a way to randomly assign participants to a group display the block of text and pictures and on that same page display the 5 questions, but have those 5 questions only yield 5 variables in SPSS (planning to embed text to show which group participant was assigned to). I though this could be done through 12 blocks of pictures/text and one block of questions but I need all of them on the same page with no page break.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks,
-Isaac
If all the text and images combination are shown first and after that 5 question are shown then in the 12 blocks only have images combination and after randomizer, add a block with those 5 questions.
Thanks Rondev,
Is there a way to make sure the question block and the randomized block display on the same page? I tried what you suggested but the participant needs to click "next page" to see the questions, is there a way to avoid this?
Since in those images question only the text and images url are changed, you can assign both dynamically. To do this create two embedded data (text, url). Using randomizer assign any one values to both from those 12 combinations. Pipe those embedded data in question. And have all questions in one page.
Rondev,
Ahhh that makes sense, I'll give that a shot!
Many thanks,
-Isaac
