Hi,
I have a rather large Excel file with over 200 columns that I would like to import to a new Qualtrics project so that I can do cross tabs. It seems like this will be quite a lengthy process. Is the only way to do this to create all the "questions" as embedded fields, or is there an easy way to simply import the entire file? Thanks!
Hi Nancy,
Yes to my knowledge you need question or embedded fields setup for each column of imported data.
My recommendation is to use the first row of your excel file with the column headers to paste into a text file. You'll need to number each "question" and add [[TextEntry]] on the line after but I think it's going to be easier then adding manually in qualtrics. (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/survey-tools/import-and-export-surveys/#PreparingASimpleFormatTXTFile) . From there you can import those as a survey from a text or doc file:https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/survey-tools/import-and-export-surveys/#ImportTXTDoc
