I'm running a task in which participants have to consider a certain object/situation and list as many things as they can associated with it.

I set up a text entry question with 30 form fields.

The next stage is to have the participant rate his own answers. I set up a matrix table with 30 statements, each one being piped from each of the 30 form fields in the previous questions.



The problem is, if the participant only writes down 20 answers (10 remain blank), the matrix table will continue to show those 10 blanks.

How do I keep it from piping empty fields?
