Feeling a little silly asking this question. But, how do you interpret rank questions data? I have looked at it multiple ways but, it is always difficult to tell my stakeholders what came in first, second and third.

I generally look at %top value vs %bottom value (maybe make a score from that where you subtract the %bottom from %top). You can also just look at the average or mean rating.
I take a similar approach to @Akdashboard. My audiences have generally wanted the simplest information possible (typically, they haven't taken much statistics), so in the case of a rank question, I give them a sequential ordering from highest percentage to lowest percentage of top rankings. (Think of a college basketball or football ranking -- the percentage of first place votes.) They typically don't need to see every item in the list -- generally just the top three to five, in my experience.
